Possibly to get absolutely shitfaced, because Giovanni has a sneaking suspicion that Cyrus just does not do birthdays and that man just needs to have fun every once in a while.

[Well, it's going to become fairly obvious rather quickly that Cyrus really does not have any idea when it comes to how to not be painfully awkward in someone else's residence, though after a moment of generally headtilting at the layout of the place and taking note of exactly where Hippopotas is located for the sake of not tripping over him, he actually manages to find somewhere to sit down like a reasonably normal human being. Not an altogether comfortable human being, partially because this entire experience is managing to be rather surreal and somehow doesn't seem like it's even happening, and as such his posture is perhaps overly stiff, but it's a start.

[Well, as far as the familiar ones go, Beedrill is motionless (probably sleeping) on a shelf and Flygon is doing the same in the corner; given that she didn't tackle Giovanni to the ground when he entered the house, it's safe to say that she's a very deep sleeper.

There are some other ones, though; an odd brown crocodile-looking Pokemon that appears to be wearing sunglasses is shying away from a Turtwig that appears somewhat intent on bossing it around...]

[Cyrus is familiar with Turtwig, given their region of origin, though he can't say that he recognizes the...whatever it is that the Turtwig seems insistent on bullying; as such, his attention remains focused on that, primarily, after visually verifying that Flygon and That Bee are fully unconscious over there.]
